Urban Village, preempting the MGM City Center's upcoming project,
will be the first truly urban community built in Las Vegas and they
are currently under construction as of late spring of 2006.
Being developed by Centex Destination Properties, Urban Village will
be a 50-acre, $1.5 billion project of brownstones, lofts, condo
hotel units, and flats at the corner of Las Vegas Blvd. South and
Pyle Ave. With over 2900 total residences starting in the
high $300s for
800 square foot condos, Urban Village will offer its residents a
full array of commercial services and amenities in its own self
contained neighborhood with parks, restaurants, shops, jogging
trails, fitness center, pools, dog parks and more.

MGM City Center
 The MGM CityCenter project is now selling! Construction on the project has already started - the foundation was poured the week of June 26th, 2006 and the Vdara Condo Hotel has been topped off. When it opens at the Strip and Harmon Avenue in 2009, the City Center will create 12,000 permanent full-time positions -- the biggest single injection of jobs into the market in Las Vegas history.
